"Lento" refers to the peaceful pace of its music but also to "Liscio" an Italian genre of music associated with ballroom dancing and social events. At a Liscio event, it is common to invite or be invited by someone to dance a "lento", suggesting a slow, intimate and graceful movement style, made of smooth and flowing motions. Lento is about my childhood memories in Romagna, the land of my family's origin, about the empty beaches in winter and the evenings filled with dance. Nicolò Ricci
